loved the " i'm all Vol part", the got to know "my girlfriend and my baby part"- not so much- but i'm willing to give the kid a chance and see if can grow and mature into an all Vol man and a father

He's is definitely one of the best guys we have committed right now. Put him, Jacobs, Taylor, peters, santos, obrien, bowles, Henderson in our D over the next couple years and we will have a top notch defense.

Come on. When your in high school most people would be lying if they said they didn't have some close calls with the baby thing! At least he didnt run from his kid, still there says something about the young man IMO.

i agree- that is my point exactly- i hope he continues to grow into being a man and a father...not sure why i got down voted on that one- i thought most everyone was against teen pregnancy...it could've happened to most of us, the truth in his character will show in how he continues to handle the situation, i'm not passing judgement, i'm hoping the kid does the right thing long term- there's still a long way to go before his child is raised

I have had a good feeling about this kid from the time we got the commitment. He's got speed and length. That's a hard combination to find in a corner. If this kid does come through it will perhaps silence those who say Joseph cant coach. I think we have a VFL.

I'm also impressed he stayed with the girl -- or at least didn't abandon his child. I know nothing about him except what's in this article, but at least that much sounds promising for his character. I'm glad he's given us his verbal and look forward to seeing him in Orange!
