LMAO...I love how certain teams of the SEC, take other teams success stories and make them their own...as if too say, "well, our team doesn't have much going for it, but hey...we ARE part of the SEC". LOL!!!

BTW...I have a feeling there are going to be some disappointed Vol fans on Saturday around 4:15 EST...but who knows....I could be wrong biggrin

    ahoyfrmmi

  • In reality, Green would probably be safer in the B1G. Those d-lineman hit like SEC waterboys.

    janderutk

  • ...it also happens to be what Clowney thinks of SEC backs as well..and he would have to play against them every saturday.. Not sure that's the best way to get Green to come to the SEC... Better to show him video of some SEC tailbacks like Lacy and Yeldon having their way with SEC defenses with a headline.. "this could be you..!"

I love how teams from other conferences can only make fun of teams that dont win the SEC when they cant win in their own conference.....

BTW...I have a feeling there are going to a lot of disappointed Michigan fans next season when their beloved Wolverines still dont win in a conference that is almost as bad as the ACC.....oh and I wont be wrong on that either....biggrin

Seriously? How many games did you win this year? Like I said, a 5-7 team with a fanbase talking smack because they play in a certain conference, is pretty amusing to me. It's kinda like Penn State talking smack with SEC schools about hoops and how great the B1G is. HAHA.

LMAO - I love it when average teams in bad conferences are exposed as frauds every time they play an SEC team and get crushed.

Just for your info... It was Tennessee who kicked off the BCS era with a ring.... Just because we are down like when RR was at Michigan doesn't mean Tennessee is riding anyone's coattails....

If you have an issue with UT fans pulling for an elite prospect to play at UT, you should, I don't know, not read UT message boards.

  • And don't even start being sensitive about us laughing at that highlight. It was the best hit of the year. Get over yourself.

Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting an elite prospect to play at UT, again, I thought I would check in and see if there were any reports how the visit went with Butch Jones...who by the way is from the Great State of Michigan and I've had the pleasure meeting several times as I'm from the West Side of Michigan. And I came across this thread where a UT fan takes jabs a Michigan and the B1G in general and how a different team in the SEC (one might even say a UT rival) won a game and had how a South Carolina DE (some have him as the #1 DLineman in the nation) had a clean hit on a 5'6" 170 pound running back during a game. A bowl game of which UT didn't even play in one this year, if I remember correctly...so yeah...I commented that I found it amusing.

I'm sorry I got so many of you so worked up today.

How did Meeechigan do against the SEC this year? Yeah....we are part of that conference. And if we didn't have to play 4 top 10 teams we would be winning(ish) like any other Big 10 team.

well if that is the best you got you should probably go back to grade school to learn to talk smack lol......

'Seriously? How many games did you win this year? Like I said, an 8-5 team with a delusional fanbase in a weak conference poking fun at a 5-7 team in the strongest conference in the country is pretty amusing to me. Its kinda like you guys getting beat by Alabama.....' oh wait, you guys got destroyed by Bama being ranked #8 at the beginning of the season. Then lost to an overrated Notre Dame squad who also got demolished by Bama. Then losing to an overrated Ohio State team whos last 2 trips to a national title game ended in a beat down by...thats right...2 SEC teams. Also losing to Nebraska and then losing to another SEC team for South Carolina....lol.....

Wow at least Tennessee actually beat an SEC team this year....Michigan couldnt even do that hahaha

The OP just took the chance to show the video clip, and addressed it to Green to be amusing.

You don't have to remind anyone here that we're down, and no one is under the impression that UT has anything going for it because teams like USC are good right now.

We also don't want to hear you defend your terrible conference. Miserable football. Just an embarrassing excuse for the game.

  • This is only tangentially related, but I can say with no uncertainty whatsoever that the Michigan night game against Notre Dame two years ago was the absolute worst college football game I've ever seen.

Blown defenses everywhere. Horrible QB play with guys just slinging it up for grabs. Missed tackles galore.

Both teams should have had a disciplinary ban for the rest of the season. Their players should have received court-ordered community service. They owed us all a public apology for that shockingly awful game.
