Gruden Question

Do you guys think it's a good thing that he hasn't publicy rejected us like he has ARK. I think thats a good sign but it also is a concern because if all these rumors were true wouldn't we have closed the deal ASAP. I know its going on day 6 but man does it feel like a month. I think I may be losing hair!!!

Eh, I PERSONALLY don't think it means too much. I think it's pretty clear that he's got some amount of interest, and there's been multiple people talk about how UT would likely be the only job in college he'd take (that's open at the moment).
I think he hasn't rejected us because he is seriously considering us, but he is also seriously considering going back to the NFL. I obviously have no sources or anything, but that's my feeling.

I never expected UT to announce a hiring prior to the end of the season because it would take the focus off of the players, which is where it should be. That is the sensible and proper thing to do.
If a deal with Gruden gets done, it will likely be announced in the next 7 days. On December 2 all of the coaches on Tennessee's A-list will be available to interview and I expect Hart to move quickly for a hire.
