South Pitt's coach resigned last night. He has told people I know he is going to be the director of football operations under Jon Gruden.
The Jon Gruden news is slowly trickling out. Jay Graham, Tee Martin, Kevin Steele, Ron Zook, and Dale Jones are possible staff members. Gundy was never offered. I do not believe Strong was offered, either, though there are credible people who disagree with me on that. Hart apparently didn't want Gruden, but the billionaires did. Money always wins.
Jon Gruden is in Knoxville as I type this.
An announcement should be made shortly.
