IYO correct? Because I'm pretty sure no one, including you, really knows what's going to happen. And while I also believe that we will not get Gruden, I firmly believe that there is some sort of legitimacy to these rumors and that we won't hire anyone (assuming Dooley is let go) without aggressively pursuing Gruden first. People like you declaring that it absolutely won't happen aren't any different from the people saying that it's a done deal.

Oh man, I heard Jim Tressel was coming for 10 yr and 150 million and that Bill Belichick was considering leaving the Patriots and coming to Tennessee . Gruden will not be at Tennessee next year unless he's visiting his inlaw's in Knoxville.

I don't understand why anyone would think Gruden would want to coach for fickle Tennessee fans, who will turn on him in three years.

Well, let's look at the facts. Hart hasn't come out and said that Dooley will return as our head coach next year. Why not reassure the players, fans, recruits, etc. that Dooley will be back? IMO, Hart's either making some calls, or he's not sure what he wants to do. With all the Gruden rumors, I believe that both sides have talked. Heck even my source on the team said the team thought that Dooley was gone. All we can do is wait. It won't just be this site that reports the news..
