I guess he's tired of the HS beat in Chatt town and wants to be a sports shock jock.

Sounds like he's embarrassed.

Hargis is swinging for the fences. He might as well as the newspaper business is on the way out. He needs his name out there and this will do that. I don't doubt his story, and in my opinion he is willing to go against the grain here because he has little to lose and much to gain.

So he posts a factually based story that makes people uncomfortable, yet no one can/will refute it. He is welcomed on talk shows all across the state to say what others would like to say. He is enough removed from Knoxville that he can still live if he gets "cut off".

This thing is coming to a head...I'll be glad when it does.
