Heard a crazy Kentucky rumor today

This is strictly a rumor but I heard that Kentucky is thinking of making a run at James Franklin with a big money contract. This came from an insufferable Kentucky fan in town (Atlanta) for the basketball game. I doubt he has any connections (although he will tell you that he does) but it does make for interesting conversation.

I think he or Petrino would fit there.....JMO they should get an OC that runs an offense that would be hard to prepare for in a week. They need to be different.

Hmmm...just can't see Franklin moving there.

I'll say what I've been saying for a long time. They need to find an accomplished triple option coach. Being the only triple option team in the SEC will counter Kentucky's football disadvantages in recruiting and gameplanning

I've said the same thing about Vandy and KY! They need to use an obscure offense and play conservative defense. They'd be able to get athletes that others either couldn't use or just didn't need.
