Would that team be undefeated with an SEC schedule? Face it, Louisville doesn't play in a particularly strong football conference, and their OOC games aren't very impressive either.

It's not that I don't think Strong can't recruit. He obviously can. Just don't think the basis can be made that he would recruit so much better than Dooley. Can he coach up players of a lesser caliber better than Dooley can? Thats a argument that I would back.
Either way, I don't think he leaves Louisville. After being passed over for years for head coaching jobs, I think he's very loyal to the A.D who gave him this opportunity.

2 of 3 not bad...really doubt Cut to UK. Petrino to Auburn could happen. As could Strong to Arkansas. All those upgrades for those schools...no doubt.

I hear a lot of talk about Charlie Strong and none about Butch Jones who just barely lost to Strong's UL team this weekend. Jones has proven he can turn a program around and win big games. Just wondering what the board thought about this coach.

He's decent. I don't think he's the impressive hire UT needs if they end up shopping for a coach tho. If you drop 9 million to get rid of your current staff.... You better have an absolute home run hire in place. If not, stick with what you got.
