JMO, but it feels like we were -75 as opposed to the -35 that we were ranked the last 10 years.

2005 killed our rating, -23...if we simply had played average that year, UT wouldn't have been #1, easily. Overcoming a season that bad (with high expectations) killed our rating in this format.

Man I knew we had fallen on hard times, but stuff like this really slaps a person in the face in regard to how bad it has actually been - I think I've tried REALLY HARD to overlook how horrible we have been, haha ugh.

Not to change the subject, but IMO this is one of the great things about March Maddness! (Unless they screw UT ha). There are so many ways to look at the "numbers", people simply interpret numbers in different ways...sometimes / many times it simply does not make sense...

I wish Saban would just friggin' retire or move to the NFL (again) or suddenly have a "health problem" that makes him want to spend more time with his family. God, I really hate bama...

We have a minimum of 5 years dealing with Saban in my opinion. My hope is that Butch Jones gets Tennessee back in the right place and we just kick the S#!t out of his teams.

Alabama can talk all the trash they want, but Tennessee has had their number in the past its just a matter of time before we have it again. And the Bama people that I talk to are more afraid of us coming back than they are of Auburn. I have heard that after 10 years of not beating us Alabama made changes in their academics and their President really got behind the Athletics dept. We're starting to see those things at Tennessee. Hopefully, we get our changes done before 10 years.

Totally agree. The numbers are so skewed by on season that it is ridiculous. Not that UT was really good or anything, but this statistical compilation was just dumb.

If it were "Most overrated-underrated team in a particular year" and listed the 2005 Vols as most overrated, I would probably agree, but not the whole decade.

The data is accurate... HOWEVER the entire thing is skewed simply because they picked a time in history when Tennessee is at it's worst and Bama at it's best. If they had used another time frame the statistics would not have worked out and then this article could not have been written.

I think it's hilarious that these morons keep kicking us while were down. Their team has been on top of the world for several years and yet they still find it necessary to hate on us, while we are at our worst. This just proves how much we are in their heads, and that makes me happy.

Tennessee is in the heads of the Bammer nation while it is DOWN... AT IT"S WORST IN HISTORY (or DAMN CLOSE) and we still bother Bama.... HAHAHA.... this is AWESOME!
