Wonder if Cameron Clear's nonsense hurts us w/this young man?!!? I hope not because he looks to be the real deal, and his size/speed would be great in the 3/4! Go Vols!

The one thing to consider is the fact that "if" Clear is released it was the result of poor judgment on Clear's part and not the fault of the UT football team. I hope that Herron can discern that difference.

True, but if one of Herron's reasons for coming to UT is because his buddy CC is here, then that motivation goes away. Regardless of who's fault it is.

Just remember Clear's incident wasn't connected to the rumors a couple of weeks ago. They may connect them before there done, I hope not. Giving the benefit of the doubt he has never been in any trouble known of and had decent grades coming OT of high school so maybe he bought the laptop or narrowed it from someone. Anyway Herron is an intelligent kid and will make the best decision for himself. Hope we get him he's got potential.

IMO, Clear's, identified above, nonsense will have an impact on the Memphis recruits for now and the future. Cam could help this somewhat if he eventually comes out saying TN had no other choice and have offered to continue to help him, if this turns out to be the case which it appears to be the case early on.

Unless this kid is a dummy then he will understand that what cam did was all on him .I think that HERRON seems to be a bright kid and the cam ordeal should not affect his decision.but in recruiting nothing is simple and easy.
