I am still on the fence with Hart as IMO everyone should be. I didnt like his comments last year during the heat of recruiting that only gave Ark, Bama and others ammo against Dooley coming down the stretch to NSD. IMO you support your head coach publicly til you fire him as anything else just hurts the program.

JMO this article has an agenda and who knows behind the scenes all the reasons for each job being deleted except for saying its all about the $$$ and today's corporate scene but that does NOT at all mean our women's teams will suffer one bit. New personnel is sometimes a great thing for a company or team. New ideas etc happen. Sure you lose experience at UT but you can also hire new experience if needed.

I dont like anyone losing their job(s) but 35 years is better than much much less than that and there might of been more to this than making job cuts (NOT saying anything negative other than maybe some jobs were duplicates of others for example).

Still....I will take a wait and see approach with Hart just as I am with Dooley hopefully the next 2 years then we will have more data and they will have been given a proper chance.

I still say THE most important thing a CEO, manager, HC or AD can do is hire qualified people and then retain them when they are successful and give them every tool to be successful.

I would like to know details of how our Athletic Dept measures up to Bama, FL, UGA and other schools at our level that we really compete against to see exactly what Hart is doing or trying to get it to look like.

After 35 years, Jennings may well have decided it was time to retire regardless of anything else going on. That's a long time to stay at one place.

I have nothing against her and wish her the best, but 35 years is a long time. I'm sure she's got a helluva pension waiting for her People with 35 years on the job are being forced out all over this country in this economy. If she's as good as they say, she'll land on her feet. Others might not be so lucky. I say cheers to Dave Hart for having the stones to do the politically incorrect thing. Fix football, the athletic department and then worry about women's sports!
