Win-win for everyone. If he proves to be that good at the SEC level, then he gets a scholly. If not, scholly saved. I am glad he gets a shot. If we do land Dobbs, the QB race could be interesting. Still, I think we will be happily surprised with the performances of Worley and Peterman. I can't imagine any freshmen coming in and unseating them from 1 and 2. And if it does happen, then we have a serious player.

Ryan,Is the reason he didn't get any other offers because of his height,arm strength,speed or all of the above? Hard to believe a kid with those kind of stats didn't have more offers.

Any chance that if things don't work out as a QB he might be willing to move to the other side of the ball? FS maybe? Is he athletic enough? Would he accept the move?
