Beat Bama! It never gets old.
"Playing no favorites and sparing none, Reggie White was a quarterback's worst nightmare."
I would take the Hoops championship for sure. That would be a huge boost to our b-ball program.
You are either younger than me, not from TN or both. When I was growing up, I was taught that our second favorite team was the one playing Bama.

Beat Bama, we need a big win to get our program back!! I enjoy basketball, but football is way too important to me!! It is almost embarrassing how much I love Big Orange football....Till death do us part!

I take basketball, and the national spotlight which can do nothing but boost football too. National Championships are few and far between, and the school would see a good revenue boost too.
The only way I would take a win over Bama is if we are undefeated going into the game. That could possibly lead to a National Championship for football. I also live in Bama country, so it would make my year.
Otherwise, basketball NC for sure.

I can understand why some people are picking Bama, but beating Bama wouldn't guarantee Tennessee being back really. Now if you want to change it to 8 in a row against Bama vs a basketball championship... I'll pick the wins against Bama... Tennessee's longest winning streak against Bama is at 7 from 1995 to 2001...

Win over Bama. By a mile. Football is where it's at.
BAMA! Just because I love UT football way more than our basketball program and that beating bama would just add to the fun.
