I am an alumni as well but you dont see whinning like this. Would I like the Vols to win? Yes. Would I like them to blow opponents out of the water? Yes. Can that be done right now? Maybe, Maybe not. Look at the stats. 'Year 3' . First time in 4 years we have been up to the 85 scholarship limit. Recruiting since 09 Florida has top 5 recruiting classes since 09 except for one where they finished 12th. Does that hurt? Of course it does. But when you have players get hurt, your star players this year dont have but a few SEC starts between them and a new defense in its 1st year, do you expect them to go undefeated?

Get real dude.....I am a Dooley fan and have been since he was hired. This was not a 3 year rebuilding job. This was a 5 year rebuilding job. You dont know what is going to happen from game to game. But acting like a little school girl who got pushed down by the bully and crying about it isnt going to get you anywhere. Take your ball and go play somewhere else....

First of all, anyone with any real knowledge of football, and of the situation said it would take 4 to 5 years to get the roster back up to par and to be able to compete for the East consistently. Everyone was after Mark Richt's job for two totally mediocre and 1 losing season. But they stayed the course while re-vamping their D and look where they are now.

There is a $5million buyout if Dooley is fired before Febuary, not to mention all of the new coaches who undoubtedly had to be given at least a 2-year contract to be wiling to come based on all the message board rumors that were out there after last season. Not sure where you think we are going to get all off this money to buy a big name right now. TN will ray the course for at least one more season .

We are freaking 3-1 right now. No one knows what will happen over the next 4 weeks of play. Yes, maybe we go 0-4, or maybe we go 2-2. Who knows? We were in the game with GA the whole way last year, and SC too. Yes, they may be a little better, but so are we. Not giving up. You still have to play the games. Stop with these stupid posts and at least let the season play out. All of the experts said 7-5 to 8-4 for this team with a ceiling of 9-3 if everything went our way.
