We are currently paying out way to much money to go all Bama and Kentucky(hoops) to get a proven stud coach, but I'm still behind Dooley until he is no longer out coach, I will also continue to make excuses for him until he is no longer our coach. None of that was for you Crockett lol

A determination on Dooley can't be made based on unrealistic expectations of fans who know nothing about football and are disappointed because we "should have" beaten Florida. Why should we have beaten Florida? Because you said so? Florida is a few years removed from being a two-time NC. They've had top 5 recruiting classes in several of the last few years. They are deeper than UT, they are faster than UT. Dooley did not inherit the depth or talent that Muschamp did. If you recall, Muschamp turned us down. Why do you think he did that? Because he realized it was a long rebuilding project with an uncertain outcome and he wanted no parts of it. Think of it this way... If this year's team played last year's team or the 2010 team what would be the outcome? We are getting progressively better than we were under Fulmer or Kiffin. The program is headed up.

The SEC is an unforgiving league with no room for error. It's not the same two team league it was in the late 90's. Do you honestly think if Saban was our coach that we would have won against LSU, Bama, UGA, UF, or ARK last year? Not a chance. Lombardi wouldn't have won those games.

Unless he completely flops, Dooley is here through next year. Get used to it.

There is a difference between critiquing and bashing the staff. Yes our recruiting has been 7th best, but what more can you expect? NOT meeting the 85 scholarship limit, NOT having depth, NOT having healthy players....I am pretty sure the last time I checked it is hard to beat even the worst teams with those kinds of problems. Was that our best chance to beat Florida? Maybe, but what if Bray and Hunter and CP come back next year? What then? Is our best chance to beat them next year? Yes we struggled with Akron, but we won by 3 TD's. No we didnt cover the spread either, but we ran the ball extremely well. How do you know that CDD is not the coach to take us back to competing? Just because he has been here 2+ years and we cant beat a #14 ranked Florida team? And if CDD was the only coach who would take the job other than 'kippy' then who else did you expect to come in??????

All you negative guys crack me up. You cant see the forest because of the trees. We play in the SEC not the ACC. We had ZERO depth coming into this season....we are still struggling with depth. What do you expect from recruits when the head coach is on the hot seat every year? Do you think kids want to come play for a coach who is only going to have a 2-3 year contract? Do you think coaches are going to want to come here and coach for a fan base that gives them less than 3 years to win 9 games with ZERO depth, hurt players, not up to the 85 scholarship limit in the toughest conference in America???? Expectations are everything, but you also have to have reality with the expectations.

And by the way HACK - just because you pay for the site doesnt give you the right to act like a douche. Kids and Kids parents read message boards and it is a negative recruiting tool. I take that back......that last statement goes for all the Negative people on here.......
