How does Our Lady of the Overrated finish ahead of UGA and aTm?

These final rankings are a joke. Georgia and Texas A&M would have beaten Notre Dame almost as badly as Alabama did and yet ND is ranked ahead of them. I'm no Georgia fan but first they got screwed out of the Sugar Bowl and then this. It's a joke.

Does the coaches poll have a requirement that the NC game opponents finish 1-2?

ND finished 4th in the AP and 3rd in the coaches, so no. I agree with Oregon being 2nd, and unfortunately the AP poll takes Ohio State into consideration.
Somehow in the AP poll, Georgia and A&M finished tied for 5th.

same way Monti Te'o collected every award imagineable and finished second in the Hypesman. Dude is a decent linebacker at best and got flat out exposed by Bama, and yet he was everybody's all-american. It's all about the hype.

This isn't being hyperbolic...but a serious question having watched 4 or 5 ND games and at least four Bama games.
Would T'eo even start for Bama this year? I lean towards no.

That's a great question. Before the game I would have said yes. Now, I am not too sure. I know Notre Dame's nose tackle could start for anybody, that guy was a beast.

I think college football s joules wait until after the NC game to do the awards. Te'o flat out missed 7+ tackles and got spanked on a few. He should not have gotten all the awards he got.
