I believe we lose both Santos and McNeil. This is not reflective on UT coaching staff or program as a whole - these young men just decided to stay closer to home where family and friends have more opportunities to see them play. Therefore, that leaves us five spots. I believe that Patterson has been a silent commit for awhile. Why has he been silent? A couple of reasons - (1) He enjoys the "fanfare" around his recruitment, and (2) our coaches have not encouraged him to go public due to they feel like it will hurt with the recruitment of Davis. With that being said, we land Davis also, which IMO gives up the best receiving corps in college football. Amos Leggett is also a Vol if we decide to offer. I feel that he will leave Knoxville with an "soft" offer, however that offer will be pulled if we somehow end up with keeping both Santos and McNeil and also land Kirven. I believe our coaches have felt extremely good about Kirven up until the last few days and now they are worried. I think we go into Wednesday really not having a read on him, but when he signs his LOI he will be faxing it to the 865 area code.
Therefore, to summarize, I believe we end up with Patterson, Davis, Leggett, and Kirven. If Kirven does go to VT then don't be surprised to see Bryson end up at UT. The coaches know all they have to do is offer and he is all Vol. I am holding out hope (praying) that we keep McNeil, but I don't think so. I would have felt a lot better if he had visited UNC this weekend. When he cancelled the visit I feel that sealed the deal for Okie State. If we lose McNeil and Santos then I really have no clue who gets the last scholarship.
Interesting few days ahead...

I hope you are correct on McNeil. I believe that he and Peters are the two players that we can not afford to lose in this class. I think Santos will be a great LB in the 3-4 system, but I had rather lose him then Peters. Thankfully Peters seems to be all-Vol regardless of his visit to Arkansas this weekend.
