I promise you do not want him. Take my word on it. I want UT to be good again. I hope SC kicks your butt every year but the East needs you back. You don't belong at the bottom. Dabo will keep you there. He is not the man for the job.

Absolutely not...for all the reasons noted! Good recruiter and very average coach. I want someone who can do both well, especially gameplan and make adjustments. [And he would be another Bama guy too!]

He hasn't put a full season together yet, but he's still young and I think he eventually will, and he'll do that a lot sooner if he stays at Clemson. He can recruit with the best of them though. I don't think our fan base wants to go through the growing pains of another head coach. We're ready for a well groomed winner. I'd keep his number for the next time we're looking. Also, all this conference realignment and switching over to a playoff system to the BCS, I could see Clemson and/or VA Tech ending up in the SEC within the next 6 years, which I have a feeling is about when we'll be looking for another head coach.

Would prefer to look elsewhere. Not a splash hire, and not a diamond-in-the-rough either. Can probably find a mid-major guy to get you the same 8 wins for less money.
