  • I know I can't be the only person wondering this, but as a wide receiver, isn't his heighth going to be an issue. At 5'8", the only defender in the SEC that isn't a head taller is the Honey Badger. Does this guy have an amazing vertical jump or are they expecting him to have a massive growth spurt over the summer? None the less, I hope UT finds a way to utilize his talents and Pig makes big things happen for the Vols this year.

As a slot receiver he's only slightly undersized, plus his speed and elusiveness out of the backfield on sweeps and short yardage passing plays makes him elite as a role player provided he has the endurance to handle sec tackles. If he proves to be not "fumbly" he may also make a thrilling return specialist.

Could possibly be a cornerback prospect too, although that is speculation based on an assumption that his leaping ability and foot work is on par.

I don't know for sure if Pig ran any wildcat in high school, but I know Tennessee has discussed possibly doing some of that with him and maybe even putting him in the backfield as a running back on some plays. He's also likely to get a look on special teams, too.

There are certainly a number of ways the Vols could try to get him involved this year.

Yes He did...this clip showcases the wildcat package on the 2nd play / clip....

but you can watch any of his many highlights and they are sprinkled throughout.

BTW...this kid played at Edgewater High..6A, against highest level of talent in FL. He is a perfect mold of the slot type / backfield type that the gators have recruited in the past. Percy Harvin, and the two other under 5'10 guys they had this year. So... again. Speed never has a bad day!

Hope he wears #2 at UT and brings back some of that Burn a former #2 Lamarcus Coker used to display.
