Hubbs in State Tournament

So thanks to Ridgeway being disqualified Robert Hubbs and Dyer County advanced to the State Tourny after last night's 94-53 win over Memphis Craigmont in the Region 7AAA championship game. Best performance I've seen from D.C. all year. Completely overwhelmed Craigmont. I hope some of you Middle and East Tennessee folks will be able to come watch Hubbs play in the Boro. I'm glad he's getting this opportunity and hopefully he'll win the Mr. Basketball award as well.
On a side note the tournament was held at Brighton H.S. and 4 star football prospect Charles Mosley was in attendance. He is a man child. I hope we get him.

Seems like Memphis is getting quite the reputation of late. Between this and the Auburn situation, it's starting to become a madhouse for athletics there.

As of late? This is pretty standard fare for Memphis. I love this city and will defend it to anyone who trashes Memphis but its reputation when it comes to recruiting, etc is often deserved. Crazy stories!

For anyone interested Robert Hubbs and Dyer County play Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. against Hillsboro. Any Vol fans who come will feel completely at home because there will be a sea of orange in the arena.
