Hunter returns, stars in scrimmage

Offensive players wearing no-contact jersey aren’t supposed to be tackled, so two-hand-touch rules them down where they stand. But you can’t touch what you can’t catch.

Thanks Wes. +1 I have thought Hunter would be special from the beginning because of his track skills. With his height, length, speed, leaping ability, and hands he is just about the perfect wide receiver. I wish he could stay for another year.

  • Coach Chaney going to be on Neal's azz again!maybe they should do like in the the movie" the program " and make Neal carry a football at all times with teammates constantly trying to steal it from him!

  • I think we all may be overreacting to Neal's fumble just a bit. We gotta have faith that Coach Graham will continue to push it and work on it. You know he will and you know Neal wants to fix the problem. For all we know, he HAS fixed the problem and that was just a fluke. We need to stay optimistic and have faith instead of saying, "Oh my gosh he's still fumbling it! He's going down on the depth charts now!" Stay calm.

  • He's fumbled a few times in practice the past two weeks as well though if I remember correctly from reports. So that coupled with his fumbles last year are at least cause for concern. I think he will be fine, but I do see why people would be worried.

    exactly

And i have faith that a high caliber athlete with high quality coaches can solve this problem. If the great adrian peterson can have ball security issues...

  • I mean it's troublesome, but asking if he's trying to stay off the field is a little much. I understand that it could be a problem, but remember that in the last scrimmage he had no fumbles. I'm just saying to relax a little bit. All will be well in the end.thumbsup

Yeah, uh, it was kind of a rhetorical question. I realize that he's not actually trying to stay off the field. And yes he had no fumbles last scrimmage. But if he's fumbling every other game that would be a problem, no?

No it most certainly would be a problem, but I don't see the point in losing our heads over it now. That's all that I'm saying it's not directed towards you I'm directing it towards everyone who is going crazy over one fumble. We have to wait and see what happens. That's all.

it's not just one fumble. we need his talent on the field this season.i don't think anybody is going nuts just yet but he has a problem and he's going to have to prove he can take care of it. GO BIG ORANGE!!!

    GO BIG ORANGE!!!

  • Arian Foster had a bad case of fumbilitis in 2008, yet we still managed a 5-win season.

  • Great recap - as usual. I hope Rajon is learning from the fumbles. At least he's saying the right things. Good to see Bray improving the percentage, but for some reason I'm expecting him to be higher. Tight end numbers are impressive. How did our defense do? Any stats released.

You can definitely tell he wants to improve can't you? I love his hunger.
