Hyams says Vols have ID'd Coach and are close to Hire

He said this on his show at 5:20pm. He has one source but will not give the name of the coach until he receives a 2nd source to confirm. The one source said it will be Charlie Strong. He said Wed. may be the day.

Hyams has said he heard it was Strong too... But not confirmed. Sorry I should have worded it better the first time

Let's get that right please. He said that he had one source. Someone ask him if he had heard if it was Strong, because he had heard it from another media outlet. His reply was, Yes, I have heard the same, but I am not reporting it until I confirm with a second source.

It's strong. Louisville already interviewed smart either late last night or this morning. It's not public info but it happened. Strong is going somewhere and I assume its here

This is the first thread I have read that had the word Hyams in it that I liked.

I believe it's Strong but they are waiting until after tonight's ceremony to announce it.

'Vols have ID'd Coach and are close to Hire'. There's nothing like a glittering generality from Hyams. He does it better than anyone.
