I actually heard someone on Finebaum...

  • ...link Bama's loss to Obama's reelection (the "Kenyan Socialist"). Apparently if Romney had been elected then Bama would have won. They got some scary people on that show.

Yes. "Some" scary people means about 95% of them in this context.

Further, you know how some insane people are nonetheless brilliant in terms of IQ, such that if you accept their crazy premise, for e.g., the world will end on date "X" or some such, the rest of their reasoning makes perfect sense? Well, here, the premise is not only nuts, his logic is insane, too. BOTH states went for Romney, and by a good margin. They didn't get beaten by the Cal. bears, for Pete's sake!

Still, you can't get astonished by this. It's a Bama fan who is also a FInebaum listener AND caller. Probably some sane Bama fans listen but don't call, but those that do both? Wooooooo doggie!

There were also several callers who, quite seriously, said that Saban shouldn't be run off over "one bad loss".

If you watched the game you could tell that Saban was a guy who knew exactly what A&M would do but couldn't get his team to buy into it. That first quarter was some of the most undisciplined defense that I have seen Bama play in a long time. That allowed Manzeil to make some big plays early. It really was "shock and awe" football that first quarter.

That's not even "Bammer Logic" - that's "Crazy Wackjob Conspiracy Theory" logic...
