Yep, woke up this morning still hating Vandy.

I grew up in Nashville and both my parents went to school there (VU) back in the 50's so I was a little brainwashed going to their games as a kid...as I got older I started becoming a UT fan and didn't totally hate VU till I went to a party on campus and when introducing myself to a couple of VU co-ed's, I was asked "what kind car do you drive"...yeah pretty much hated VU since then

It sounds petty but I always got that kind of vibe from their students when on campus....silver spoon, trust fund, we're better than you feeling

Who thought of himself as dandy
But then the Vols came to town

A few years back I heard a story about Cafego when he was an old man. Someone asked him if he had any regrets from his UT playing and coaching days, a decision or play he wished he could do over. His reply was about a Vandy game that UT won something like 49 to 0. He said he wished they had gone for 2 after the last touchdown so that the score would have been 50 to 0.

It's worth noting that Vanderbilt was the Vols' biggest rival and nemesis back in the day. When Gen. Neyland was given the head coaching job, his No. 1 stated objective was to beat Vanderbilt. Needless to say, he beat Vandy and just about everyone else.

James Franklin is a Narcissist, and I personally hope the team can hold it together long enough to pound Vanderbilt into submission. Franklin applies to most of these definitions of Narcissism.

An obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges
Problems in sustaining satisfying relationships
A lack of psychological awareness (see insight in psychology and psychiatry, egosyntonic)
Difficulty with empathy
Problems distinguishing the self from others (see narcissism and boundaries)
Hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults (see criticism and narcissists, narcissistic rage and narcissistic injury)
Vulnerability to shame rather than guilt
Haughty body language
Flattery towards people who admire and affirm them (narcissistic supply)
Detesting those who do not admire them (narcissistic abuse)
Using other people without considering the cost of doing so
Pretending to be more important than they really are
Bragging (subtly but persistently) and exaggerating their achievements
Claiming to be an "expert" at many things
Inability to view the world from the perspective of other people
Denial of remorse and gratitude

In other words. I hate Vandy and James Franklin
