And a +1 for you all! Another book I would highly recommend is Into The Fire by Dakota Meyer and Bring West. Sgt Meyer earned that pretty blue medal with stars all over it and speaks the truth about war and the challenges faced everyday in the trenches. If I were a coach at the college level I would find men like this to come speak to my team. You can learn alot from 18-21 year olds who lead men into combat and face dangers that others can't imagine.

Read the book over my trip to Vegas in July. Books never move me...this one did. I suggest the book to everyone I know that reads. The OP is right...it gives you a different perspective of who our fighting men and women really are. Thanks for starting this thread.
