I pray to god that our Country wouldn't forget 9/11 in 70 Years

So please, let's not forget that 70 years ago today 188 U.S. aircraft were destroyed; 2,402 Americans were killed and 1,282 wounded.

I second that prayer because only God can overcome human nature and it is human nature to become numb to the truth and forget. It's happening with 9/11. Thanks for this thread. +1

Great post Mumpy,
I'm a huge history buff, which drives my wife crazy, and this morning I'm getting my son ready for pre-school and the news was showing some footage of the Pearl Harbor attack. My son, Peyton, asked what that was about and i simply said "it was a tragedy that brought out courage to maintain our freedom". Peyton's response "Daddy I like freedom". Me too.

Thanks for the up votes. I've been on the road all day today. I noticed that not once did I hear on the radio down here about Pearl Harbor. On a good note though, I saw many Flags flying at half mast.
