Everyone knew that lure of the NFL would be hard to overcome , How is that Hart's fault ? I never heard Hart come out and say that Gruden was his man to start with , besides we need to trust that Hart has some one in mind . We need to judge after the hire is made not before .

It is not Hart's fault Gruden didn't come to Tennessee, I never said that. Hart didn't handle the situation (rumors) well. Now his man, if he has one, will have a very difficult time with our fan base.

Pastor....Dave Hart is not the voice of the fan. Not his job.

I disagree, as AD he must do everything he can to make the next coach successful. It will be very difficult for the next guy now. As I have said I should not have used the word fired in the title.

Bear They wrong direction is when rumor after rumor kept coming out. At some point he has to say the expectations here are going to put me in a corner. I never said Hart caused and rumors. But his silence, when even Wes was saying it was a possibility, was not smart. He never talked to Gruden till yesterday if you believe Gruden's agent. Now I truly feel sorry for our next coach.

I may have used too strong words saying he should be fired. But his failure to call rumors what they are, allowed them to grow. Now he gets to live with the results.

I understand and we have all misspoken. You and I have no problems. However, I think human nature being what it is will allow the next coach to move forward without much in the way of repercussions. We will all fall victim, to some degree or another, to the marketing spin and begin to believe 'this new guy' is the answer. In our society today we have been programmed that way. I know because I made some good money being one of those 'programmers'. There will always be contrarian's who will not buy in but in the end it will not matter until the first unexpected loss which will probably be set up by unrealistic fan expectations. We are a fickle bunch. Best to you my friend.
