No, Fulmer's day is past.
If he was really such a great coach, why was he not snapped up by another team?
He had his day for us. But it ended more than a decade ago.

I wouldn't be opposed to it if he hired coaches and not people he could control. If he kept Pittman and Graham and brought Tee home and built off that

I do think he would have a new passion for it and he could train someone to take over after he was gone.

I gave you a +1, because I appreciate the fact you brought it up for discussion. I like Fulmer, but I would not want him back as a long term solution. However, I'd love to have Cutcliffe.

Phil in his prime was a great recruiter and program manager with great assistants. I don't see him as a trainer. JMO

I just meant as far as someone who needed a few more years of seasoning who could learn

I'm more sick of hearing about Fulmer than I am the rumors about Gruden and that's saying quite a bit. If Fulmer comes back, I will stop watching the Vols until he's fired again.
