    That impresses you? He lost to UConn and Syracuse. He went 7-6 in 2011 and 2010. He hasn't proven he can recruit. He hasn't had success in a subpar conference. Convince me he's suited to lead us back to an elite SEC team, because so far I have seen nothing.

    I hear ya man. You are right; the ACC is, well, the ACC. Nevertheless, complete domination is a tall order for any coach. College football is just too fickle for your expectation(s) to be realistic... JMO

  • But they weren't dominating when he took over...FSU was losing 5-6 games a year (4 out of Bowden's last 5yrs-look it up). He has come in and put them back on top in the ACC.

    Noles lose one game and they are out of the NC picture. That's life in what's left of the ACC. The SEC owns college football. 6 in a row and soon to be 7. Go back to your little basketball conference.

  • I like Fisher, but I am a Charlie Strong guy. If we had a choice between the two. I would choose Strong. His resume and reputation speaks for itself. But, Fisher is good coach and I would be happy with either. Go Vols!!!!

    I agree with Abvol Fisher really worries me. 1. I do not think he has any real interest in UT. The only thing we offer that FSU doesn't is a lot of money. I think he will follow the Les Miles blueprint and leverage us for a big raise.

    Miami is an irrelevant school in an increasingly irrelevant conference. Once the NCAA rules on the Shapiro findings, there might not even be a program left...

    Disagree with this... Recruiting in Fl is not as easy as everyone thinks. Every school in the nation is in there fighting for the top recruits.

    Also Florida kids seem to go to whichever state team is currently winning, so FSU has to win in order to recruit the state well.

    Those are my two biggest issues with Fisher, as well. ACC d/n = SEC; recruiting in the state of FL does = shooting fish in a barrel.

    Trolls, please. We know full well how bad we've been over the last 5 years. That's why we're thinking of trying to take your coach. If we don't, AUB likely will, and if you keep him, he'll rape you on a salary increase and extension.

    When we say the SEC is much, much, much better than the ACC (and it is), we're not talking about our own recent sucky past, but rather the conference as a whole, because getting back to the top of the conference is the standard.

    And, BTW, we did beat the crap out of the NC State team that beat you guys this year.
