Fedora is my first choice!

+1. Agree 100%. I really hoped Gruden would come, but I knew it would be a long shot. IMO, Fedora is severely underrated as a coach. Heck, his team went 0-12 ONE SEASON after his final year in which they had an 11-2 record and a C-USA title. 11-2 to 0-12 speaks volumes. Fedora meant everything to that team, and like I said in an earlier post, I don't know of too many coaches who could have pulled an 8-4 season at UNC given the NCAA sanctions and the Butch Davis situation. Florida almost hired the guy two years ago, so that also says a lot. I don't know, it just seems to me like if we pass him up for a Golden or a Butch Jones that we could end up missing out on something big. Just my

im off the gruden train.. to much going on there.. lets get someone who has been successful in college and has a huge and i mean HUGE upside.. lets get fedora and lets get the T back on top where it should be.. IDK why im on his bandwagon so much but just really like the prospect of having him here.. we need to get things back and i think he can do it

You guys want to gamble on a coach thats never known real expectation or pressure? No one watched Southern Miss. No one at UNC had any expectations this year. I don't think Fedora (or anyone with a similar resume) is suited to handle rabid Vol fan coming off our recent history.

Who would you hire not named Gruden, Fisher, or Stoops?

Fedora has SEC experience, he was the OC at Florida from 02-04, so i'd say he's got some understanding of how the SEC works.

You guys sound like post-Goff Georgia fan before they hired Jim Donnan.

I'd knock on a lot of doors (Dabo, Pelini, RichRod, Strong, Mullen) before I settled for Fedora. With as much grief as Richt has gotten the last few years from his fans I'd probably even call him.
