dont disagree with you but i was giving the cheers symbol b/c there are lots of positives that you can take away from that game AND most importantly we never gave up playing hard . Look i really think we have improved from last year but still have a way to go ; i can sit in my house and throw things and let it ruin my week / weekend or i can get excited about the direction of the program and be excited about the positive direction of UT athletics in general

No one is satisfied with the result. We recognize improvement when we see it. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. Tennessee teams of recent years would have given up, tucked their tail between their legs, and gone home with an embarassing loss. Our "winless for Wyoming" team of 2008 would have. This team had every reason to do just that and didn't. Winners don't always win the game, but they always play hard and fight hard to win. It's alright to be angry and we all hope that the team is angry as well. Hopefully this team will channel that anger in a positive way. I believe that they will. Winners use disappointment and anger as a motivational tool to improve and get better. In 1998, we won the national championship, but the Florida, Arkansas, Syracuse, and Florida State game could just as easily have been losses. Those guys had already learned how to win and keep fighting for 60 minutes. That is what this current edition of Volunteers is learning to do and they are going to get it right very soon.

Ok guys you have sold me on it but I still believe that we still need to be able to run the ball and hike the ball. I feel that Tennessee has the receivers and the defense but can Zach handle Justins roll I don't think so. Hey guys I Love the Vols with all my heart and soul it just makes me mad cause I feel like this was the year for us to beat them but Oh well.

If Hunter had not gone down early, I think the score would have been closer, if not reversed. Losing his presence made the offense have to work that much harder for yardage. UT may be the better team overall, but they weren't the better team today.

I think a young team like ours ( and Florida's) will show tremendous improvement over the course of the season. Look how much improvement we saw in Arnett just today. The difference between us and Florida is next year we get them at home, with Hunter, Rogers and Bray back. Brantley, Demps and Rainey will be gone and Driskell will be starting his first SEC game.
Its gonna be a fun ride with a lot more ups than downs in the coming years.
