I don't know. The Knoxville QB Club and the Athens Chamber of Commerce are two different things. It's common for SEC and other big college towns to have a variety of speakers from different programs. It's a given - and they don't put up billboards.

Some small towns have similar traditions. The Lawrenceburg QB Club has brought in several big names. I covered the Rex Dockery plane crash; he was the Memphis State coach on his way to speak there when he was killed.

This Athens chamber thing is out of left field IMO. I can just imagine if the Maury County chamber pulled this stunt. I already hold them in contempt for a variety of grievances, first among them their total incompetence. They bring Saban in for a speech and I would have a come apart.

Here's hoping Shazzon Bradley shows up to give him a helicopter flying body slam as soon as he takes the podium.
