Interesting comment on Denarius Moore by Matt Williamson

  • This was said during his chat yesterday on ESPN:

    William (Williamsburg)

Thoughts on Denarius Moore's development? Was last week his break-out party or just another flash in the pan?

Has a chance at greatness. Have really liked him since he came into the NFL. One huge worry: Durability

Denarius Moore...greatness?? Will you please explain a little more?

Not saying he is going to be Jerry Rice, but I could see him developing into a true #1 WR-and I don't use that term lightly. Maybe a Greg Jennings type career. Great speed/verticality. Great burst, loose hips, very fluid.

  • He also made a very interesting comment earlier in the chat about offensive linemen. He said there's a shortage of them coming into the league because so many colleges are running a spread. The linemen aren't prepared when they enter the league.

That sounds like a good recruiting argument to get good linemen into programs like ours that run a pro style offense.

I'm sure the pro style teams use that all the time.

Yeah he bemoans the lack of quality O-linemen all the time because of the spread - him and Mel Kiper.
