Makes sense to me. I'm sure this was ironed out before Graham left South Carolina.

It's certainly possible that Graham knows something and this kid let it slip, but I think it's more likely that this is just what our coaches have to say to all recruits. They're not going to go around saying "I really don't know what's going to happen to me next year." They would be stupid to say that. They need to show confidence around these kids if they want to have any shot in recruiting them, so of course they're going to say that they will be back. It's certainly an interestingly worded quote, but I don't think we can be sure what it means.

Holy crap, Dooley haters will grab at anything for hope of getting rid of him. The "he" in that quote is referring to Dooley. So Jay Graham was telling him that he(Dooley) will be there next year so that Turman shouldn't worry. All of our coaches are assuring the recruits that Dooley will be there next year.

I've always felt that if Dooley got fired Graham would retain his position. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that was discussed when he came on board, considering the perception of Dooley's long-term future at UT after the loss to Kentucky and the exit of many of his assistants at the end of last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Graham has had more recent discussions with Hart about to affirm his status with the program.
