I think Tennessee simply is just over matched tonight. I think that Hart is going to have a hard time overlooking all of the Bama fans that were there and plus how all of the TN fans left in droves after the third. Or at least it looks like they filed out pretty quick. I don't think TN can continue on this path. This is going to be a very tough decision for Hart to make. It's either make or break for him as well.

It was time about 10 months ago...

Unfortunately I think this is gonna be the nail in the coffin. I think Dooley should get another year because he has rebuilt this program to the point where we will compete for the East next year, but tonight probably killed any chance of that happening. This was painful. I just hope that for the first time in 20 years, our whole fanbase can get behind the next coach because I hate the split in our fanbase, it almost bothers me more than losing.

Fans have given up, team is incapable of competing with our contemporaries in the league, and next year does not offer an improved chance of success.

I wonder if Hart pulls the trigger tomorrow.

What other options did Hamilton have at that point?

He should have hired an interim if he couldn't get a real coach. Hiring a guy who wasn't remotely qualified to do the job and shackling us to three years of his incompetence was stupid. The guy had a terrible resume and had no business getting this job. Aside from the fact he comes off as smart and his daddy was Vince Dooley there was no reason for him to be given this opportunity.

Based on what? Please provide me some hope!

I think we can but weather we do is the question, I thought we had the talent to beat everyone we've played except Bama. I am really frustrated and tired of loosing as are our players and coaches but we have been out played and coached the last three games.

They went to a bowl in 2001, not that long before he was hired and their offensive system is a spread/speed/no huddle installed by Tony Franklin that has absolutely nothing to do with Derek Dooley and what he ran when he was there. Want to make anything else up?

He led a middling non-BCS program who had one moderately good year and followed that up with a losing season. He then got one of the fifteen best jobs in America because his last name is Dooley. It's a colossal joke and it never should have happened.
