You're exactly right. I'm not arguing that point though. He said we haven't been behind a coach in 20 years and I said a VERY large group loved Kiffin. It's all about recruiting. We don't have enough 4 and 5 stars, really as simple as that IMO. Bring in a Charlie Strong recruiting automatically gets better.

I didn't say we haven't been behind a coach in 20 years. I said our fan base has basically been split for 20 years. I know A Lot of people were behind Kiffin, and like Tntoak said, a lot of them turned on him quickly, especially when he left for SC. But there was a large contingent of fans that were still pissed that we fired Fulmer and were unwilling to support Kiffin. It began when Fulner took over from Majors. The people who were "loyal" to Johnny always said Fulmer stabbed him in the back. Said he was only successful when because Johnny left him a stocked program. Many of them were like that until the day he was fired, although they were quieter during our glory years. When Phil was fired, the same thing happened with those that were "loyal" to him, so many of them did not support Kiffin or Dooley. Honestly, I really don't care who our coach is. Like you, all I want is for us to win.
