It's happening today!...

  • Can't wait for the BasketVOLS game tonight. Big test for the VOLS @ Georgetown. Georgetown is battle tested with a win over UCLA (not as impressive now) and taking Indiana to OT. I like the way Cuonzo's and the VOLS came out Monday against Oakland. Handled them the way a superior team should. What's your thoughts on tonight's game? Here's a nice preview!

  • It's a great litmus test game. After tonight we should know how good we really are or where we need to improve to get to "Sweet 16" form

    Couldn't resist. Yea, they always have good big men too, so it'll be nice to see how we can match up without Maymom, just in case he's out the rest of the year. Win or lose, this team will grow tonight for sure.

    I was a Gtown season ticket holder for a couple of years. I have seen alot of Gtown bball and Otto Porter might be the best Hoya I have seen in a while. Tennessee will struggle with his versatility. I think the key is containing Starks. Golden has to slow him down. If he gets on a roll...watch out...We have to bully them on the inside. We will also need to hit outside shots to win. I think the Vols could struggle tonight...it would not surprise me. Okie St and Gtown are very similar in their physicality and defensive pressure. My heart still says the good guys pull it out.

    I think this is a very big game because UT has 3 straight big games. GTOWN, UVA, and Wichita St. We will need these wins in March because the SEC has not performed well. I dont want Tennessee to just get in the Tournament. They need a good seed. Doing well in the SEC will not be enough.

    Good teams in SEC
    1. FLA. (Look good)
    2. Missouri (cause match up problems)
    3. UK (Still good, just young, will get better)
    4. Tennessee

    Might be good
    5. Bama (too early to tell)
    6. Arkansas (They have a superstar but worry about the supporting cast)

    Everyone else is not impressive. Some of the teams look awful. South Carolina, Georgia, Miss. St. Vandy
