It's not fair or fun to say but Lathers is really hurting us

I mean, he's not the only one. Just about our entire defense is struggling. But he's the guy in the middle and the captain. Other teams are seeking him out and taking advantage of him in pass coverage and he's getting blocked way too easily on those runs between the tackles.
It sucks to say because he's a great story and had to overcome so much but reading his quotes in the VIP room he said a lot of "we" when he could have just said "I" have to get off those single blocks and the coverage stuff.

Can't really argue with the on field performance.
I did find it interesting that in Wes's article yesterday he was basically calling out other players for not watching enough film.

He just can't run like he used to. It's a shame we needed him this year. Not having Santos or Otha is just further magnified.

The sad part is Lathers at 75% is better than anything else on our roster. But, "we have been recruiting good".
