They go hand in hand. And, when have you ever seen a coach contract lately without a big fat buyout? Especially one of ours.

Mack Brown's buyout at Texas is around 3.2 mil. That's pretty low for a coach making over 5 mil per year. Curious to see more of this contract.

Hey bud...its my onion, if you don't like it just respond in a manner that does not personally attack me. that's the bad thing about this site, and for which the mods need to control better. But i do understand that some people have A hard time in debate without making personal attacks...

How can you attack someone who represents a school every one on here loves and then get mad when there's a backlash? If you aren't prepared to handle the repercussions, don't post it.

How do you disagree? Coaches deserve the opportunity to put their own personnel and plans in place without looking over their shoulder. It's pretty standard for coaches to get at least 5 years.
