    I never would have thought that after the way we started SEC play. What a total turn around. And I like the team's attitude. Never gave up at LSU even though down by a lot. There is always a balance of scoring with several players in double digits. And good defense and rebounding. Players playing hurt and sick. All these are signs of a good, tough team.

    I definitely think we can get to the SEC tourney final game if we keep playing as hard as we have been.

    The comeback in the LSU game is what I think solidified this team as a legitimate contender (at least in their minds if nothing else). That was a hell of an effort in a situation many teams would have folded under. It was almost as if a lightbulb was switched on suddenly and the team finally saw exactly how far they could go utilizing the style of play CCM emphasizes on a daily basis. Their defensive effort was what allowed them to come back in that game.

  • I would have never thought this would happen. CCM has done a great job this year and the players have worked thier butts off. This could be one of my favorite teams of all time because of the hard work and improvement that they have made. Gets me excited for to what they can do next year.     agree with you tntoak , that game will help define this team and the amazing strides they have made esp given all the circumstances

    Seeing the Vols hit their stride and keep themselves in games by working inside and not having 7 min long scoreless streaks has been quite the adjustment and accomplishment for Martin that took a once struggling team into the bubble picture. What a victory for UT sports and the men's basketball coaching staff. Also the players for buying in and adjusting to the new style.
