According to Josh Ward on twitter, he may be coming for a visit in January. http://joshandwill.com/audio/jalen-ramsey-talks-recruiting/. Do we even want him after the attitude he has shown toward UT? I'm surprised he is still considering visiting.

Idk why he's been so negative about us. Hopefully it was directed more towards Dooley than Tennessee. It angered me regardless.

love to have him...but it seems to me hes got to much hate for the tenn..or bad atitude..does he want be bagged to come?ide offer then if he dont except fine..go play for the unknow kiffin..unknown meaning if he lose again next year hes fired..with that much talent and cant win..me that train has departed i wouldnt put to much stock in his word's..theres kids out that might work out better for us..its 2 way street.

Has Jalen's animosity been against TN or the previous coaching staff? That would make a lot of difference in this situation. If he is willing to listen to Coach Jones why shouldn't we give him a chance?

He does have a few recent conversations with Tiny Richardson on twitter, so I would guess there's a bit of grand-standing going on with the kid and his perceived views of UT. Just seems to me like and 18 year old that needs some basic training...

He is the top recruit in the state and near the very top in the country- elite talent- you have to make every effort possible to get him on your team.

I dunno. I know he's supposed to be a great player (I say supposed to be b/c we have no idea if he'll pan out) but the way he talks about Tennessee....I just don't think he'd be a good fit. he seems AWFULLY cocky and fully of himself. Confidence is one thing, but to talk the way he does about UTnot only makes me believe he's just an arrogant teenager but also not the type of person we'd want. Is he the type of player? Most definitely, but he doesn't seem to care at all about UT, and with less than 2 months until NSD, i dont think his view of us will change.

I think part of that hatred and attitude was towards Derek Dooley. The guy didn't want to come play for someone that appeared to be a loser but that's just my opinion. If he wants to come I would welcome him. He's a great player and we need guys in the secondary. However I don't think he's gonna end up here.

I have to agree with JCJ1986 on this one. If I remember correctly, I wasn't the most eloquent speaker when I was 17 years old either. All I"m saying is Ramsey is young and we all say and do things we regret when we are young. If the young man can play ball, then we need him. I hope he changes his mind and decides to come to UT.

Brave, should we have turned our nose up to James Stone? he wasn't interested while Kiffin was here but Dooley got him, may be a similar situation.

Great player. We could use his talents. Wish he wouldn't have bad mouthed Tennessee, but he did. Hope he goes to Vandy so Josh Smith can embarrass him.
