I just +1 everybody because anybody that is positive of James coming back to help kickers deserves a +1 in my book. His 50 yarder vs Florida in 2004 still shakes me out of my boots to this day. When the ball was kicked I was in Z14 Row 50 Seat 6. When it hit the fans in the stands I was about 3 or 4 rows down below that. Still to this day one of my favorite moments ever.

If I am not mistaken there are some kind of NCAA limitations on outside 'coaches' working with players. However, there's nothing stopping the players from seeking help.

+1...One of my favorite all time moments from a UT game. Still my best memory from Neyland. When Wilhoit hit that field goal, i felt the ground shake beneath me from 100,000 plus fans going crazy. Im ready to see Neyland rockin like that again. Its been way too long! If im not mistaken Wilhoit had missed a field goal earlier in that game which was the reason the gators were ahead in the final minutes......boy did he ever redeem himself with that fifty yarder!

You do realize there have been a couple of articles talking about how the ball Tennessee uses has less loft and carry than balls used by other programs, right? There's actually empirical evidence to support that...

I don't know about empirical evidence. But I remember thinking that I wouldn't want the guy who works with our kickers putting that stuff in their heads.
