If we had been head to head with Auburn for Green, might have been a much easier sell but since they knew the Michigan coaches, too much to over come.
There are 3 coaches critical to a players recruitment, his position coach, his coordiantor and the head coach. Players have to feel good about all three, not just one of them..

In an interview clip with Green on WBIR, he specifically mentioned the coaching changes at UT as a factor in his decision.

I think jay graham is the reason tha these high profile backs are even looking at us our product on the field is the reason where not landing them do you truly believe that kids go to alabama because nick saban is there no they go because they win games if bama had three coaches and missed bowl games the last to years no one want to go there. It takes a good recruiter to get in the door jay has done the product on the field will finish it off for us and yes i believe this new staff will do it for us

unreal....i get your point...also if all these people thought green was coming here ,to start with was doing some wishful thinking to start with..wasnt no surprise to me hes been a michigan all the way.
coach graham can coach running back and did 1 heck of a job improving us this past season
on the recruiting side..sure hes got us in with lawson and a couple more..but who has he signed
yet?until hes both recruiter to go along with being very good coach,,,i see your point
its not your fault green didnt sign and so many feeling are hurt..plus 1+
board get over it and move on ..see no reason what ever for any down votes.

There is no guarantee that Green will pan out as touted. Remember Bryce Brown? We got him....didn't mean squat.
