i thought the "he never won the big game" stupidity was put to rest after the super bowl win. Cant believe even Biddle is lame enough to trot that retread BS out now. Peyton made one bad mistake in that game, but that's not the reason the Broncos lost that game. If the bronco's have a safety who can field a fly ball with 30 seconds left, or if John Fox doesnt take the ball out of Peyton's hands TWICE in the last two minutes with the game on the line, we are looking at an epic Brady-Manning matchup.

Well said frostyvol. He also brought up the Florida record, while ignoring what he did against Bama. He started the streak of 7 straight wins against them. He also never lost to UGA. I'd say that in college, those were big games as well.

The fallacy is perpetuated by the fact that when Peyton's team loses, it's almost always in a high profile "big game"..But how do you think his teams get to so many big games?? He actually has to win some to get there. Such an old and nonsensical argument by haters and contrarians. It is always amusing to me that the only big games that count for Peyton are the few that he loses..Never the vast VAST majority that he wins..

i dont want to defame champ bailey, but good god, he looked like a shadow of himself in that game..But even for all that, i cant blame him for the TD by Jones to tie the game before OT. Looked like he was playing underneath believing he had safety help over the top, and the safety underestimated Flacco's arm and overestimated his own leaping ability...inexcusable gaff. Hate to pile on the guy. Im sure he feels absolutely miserable. Still cant believe broncos lost..

Biddle=Adams=Climer.

Biddle is a jerk - and then some. He is the former sports editor for the now defunct Nashville Banner. He went to grade school and high school with Steve Spurrier and has been sniffing his jock ever since. He and Bill King have spent hundreds of hours of radio time trying to convince everyone that John Chavis is a terrible defensive coach.

When the Banner closed, Biddle hooked up with the Tennessean with a twice-weekly column - that never said anything. He and King wore out their welcome on local radio. King started out 20-plus years ago being a small-time recruiting guru while riding (the now deceased) Bob Bell's coattails. He apparently has leveraged that into a satellite gig - which only shows how desperate media is for content.

Apparently, Biddle is now reduced to phone-in gigs to places like Memphis where the local sports media hates UT. I am not exagerating about the Memphis media. One of the Commercial Appeal's staff writers gave me his media guide from the UT NC game because he didn't want it in his house.

Be glad Biddle is trashing UT in Memphis.
