This is one where I will give the coaches the benefit of the doubt. I think a lot of people get excited when we snag a kid formerly committed elsewhere. The question is not the "snag" but whether or not this kid is ready to put in the work and has the skill sets to be an SEC defender. And he needs to be fast.
Still don't know if our D was that bad or if there was some discord between players and players or players and staff or both. I want to believe there was a good part of the latter, seeing how we went from bad to horrible as the year progressed. Even bad D's should improve some as the year goes on.
