Thank's brad and Ryan maybe there new staff isn't interested in him, makes no sense to not let a kid EE.

His experience at CB will decently help him when he has to come up to the box. Good speed, solid cover skills and a nose for the ball; great pick up IMO. I hope he is the first of many new additions to our 2013 class.

Well, it also depends on if Auburn is trying to stay within the scholarship limit. If they only have a limited amount of slots available in January they may be trying to save those for some of the higher-ranked guys.

I dont understand how Auburn couldnt want this kid. He really impresses me on tape, he has a great burst, can make cuts on a dime and has great hips. I look for this kid to do big things in orange. Welcome!

Ryan any word on whether this kid could be that 2 way QB that CBJ is looking for? I know it says we're primarily recruting him as a cornerback/safety but he's got way too much talent to not use him on the offensive side of the ball.

No way. Watch his highlight film on Youtube. His standard pass is a parabola. And if you don't know what means, think pop up. I didn't see SEC-caliber arm strength.
This guy is a nickleback or a safety, IMO.

Yea I agree he is lacking in arm strength, but he can make plays with the ball in his hands and working on his mechanics could help a lot with his throwing.

I don't know much about coaching or recruiting in football, but what I do know from coaching Rec league basketball teams is that you can take a talented athlete and coach them up to be a really good skill player. Long story short, guys like this are special with good coaching. This kid is talented in several positions. I like it. These are the types of players that can be special. Very good pickup. I'm glad we have him. GBO!

Ryan I'm excited to have db commits as this season showed we need help in the secondary. That said it seems like we aren't getting anyone with elite 4.3 or 4.4 type speed which concerns me. I've been a vol fan since my freshman year of 89 and I can never remember seeing a slower secondary than we've had the past couple of years. This year especially if u got to the second level u were gone. Never once caught anyone from behind and not just the sec backs were outrunning us. Anyone else concerned about this? Are they addressing this? Thanks

i agree repo..slow and lost..seems to me..Malik Foreman will be a name to watch if we can land him he would be the fastest player in this class and maybe whole team he out ran young in high school.
hes fast and plays offense and defense...defense realy well all around good solid football.
im sure ryan can give more players that we might land with speed...just 1 if we land him..
