Jon Gruden Will Not Be Coaching TN

  • I'm not an insider. I don't have any special information, but using common sense...don't you think we'd have Gruden by now if it was possible. I mean, how many times does a rumor have to be debunked before you accept the truth. I wish I was wrong, but I'm not. I'll happily eat crow and downvotes to high heaven if I'm wrong.....BUT I"M NOT. Gruden is not going to be the coach at any time in the foreseeable future at the University of Tennessee.

    I'm frustrated with the coaching search, but I'm nowhere near abondoning the team or hiring a winner with no moral character. {Although I did enjoy the remark from the fan that said Petrino could sleep with his wife so long as we win some football games.} Just hold tight Vol fans, redemption is coming and it will be sweet when we get back to where we should be, no matter how long it takes.

  • I was just posting the very same thing. The Gruden stuff is getting old. It is at this point childish and unintelligent. I know I will get some down votes for being an ass, but lets get past this bs already. The Gruden rumors do nothing but lend more truth to the already popular thoughts that the Tennessee fan base is stupid and as the former agent said we live in a fantasy land. That's what it looks like to outsiders. It is embarrassing to read this stuff I am so over it.
