At least Tennessee offered before UGA.... It's good to see Jones already making rounds to touch base with some 2014 recruits while on such a short schedule to reel in some talent for 2013....

It was an informal offer. You can go back and check Rusty Mansell's story on it from a few weeks ago. I asked Chubb if he had received the official offer from Georgia yet, and he said no. Otherwise, I wouldn't have written it.
He basically has a Georgia offer, for all intents and purposes. They just told him they were going to make it official soon, and they haven't yet. Not really a big deal.
