Last week, after Jones was hired, Martin was asked about the possibility of hearing from Tennessee.
"That's where I went to school, that's my alma mater, that's always home for me,” Martin told The Times. "If the opportunity presented itself, at that time, we deal with it. But as of right now nothing has happened."

Based upon Tee's comments I don't see him coming. He was reserved in his comments and did not seem excited about the possibility of returning. He obviously loves LA and the wife has her career to consider. He will not come.

Love the fact that many of the position coaches are great recruiters. I can't wait to get these guys out there and sell this university on the recruiting trail and get this years class a top 15 class

I agree that Martin unlikely to come. I think it is actually a good thing Jones isn't starting from scratch in key positions. He knows what he is getting and it seems the coaches all know and believe in their plan, which is great.
I dunno about Martin, but sounds like he is happy at USC. If he really is an up and coming coach, he probably wants a promotion, not a lateral position.

Very impressed with the staff so far! Thanks Wes for the update! My only question mark is Defensive Coordinator, was really hoping for a more proven "SEC" coordinator or a bigger name. However, I will stand behind CBJ's decision until proven otherwise! VFL!!!

Tee got a free ride for him and his family to come to TN to see his boy on UT's dime. He's not coming. I'm ashamed of him. His mind was made up when he got on the plane. Butch should move on.

I'm not really seeing the best staff in college football . Martinez does not impress , Jancek has DC does nothing to impress me after having seen him and Martinez at Georgia . Stripling seems to have a solid resume the rest well I will have to wait and see.

Wes I read today that Nick Reviez had applied for a GA position at UT, I also saw that Zach Collaros was given a GA position. Can you tell me if this is true and if so how many GA positions are allowed?

I have no idea if that's true but it would be awesome for Reveiz to start his coaching career here. Always thought he would be a great coach.

I can't believe he'd rather stay with Lame at USC even if it is a lateral move this sucks and it blows my mind. Go Vols!

I love this group. If Tee is added on this will be one heck of a staff. Great recruiters. A great group of defensive mined coaches. I wish the season was about to start!
