The one freaking argument that's based on the one freaking example of one freaking game out of nearly 80 games he's coached and everyfreaking body else has already discussed it ad freaking nauseam, and the only thing extra you can bring to the table is to start your sentence without a capital letter and add umpteen question marks?

Really?

Perhaps cliff (and a bunch of the rest here) would like to change the rules of freaking statistics and make a sample of freaking one statistically freaking significant. But it's not.

Some others are advancing other arguments why they don't agree with the hire; why they don't think Jones will do well and the like; and that's fine. We can debate the rest of the man's record. And while I think we could have done a lot worse under the circumstances of a botched coaching search, I sure don't approve of the overall job during the search that Hart, and especially Cheek, did.

I'm just tired of hearing this one freaking argument over and over and over and over and over and freaking over again. It's starting to freak me out.

Everyone knew Dooley was a big question mark, Jones has won everywhere he's been. There's no comparison to Dooley, not saying it's a home run hire, but it's a definite upgrade over what we had. You can't really judge him till we see the staff he puts together, if he's hired.

I'm not sure I understand all the hate for this guy. Look more closely at him, he replaced Brian Kelly (As in coaching in the NC game Brian Kelly) at Central Michigan and was a winner there. He then replaced Kelly AGAIN at Cincy and was 4-8 in year one but improved to 10-3 last year (with a bowl win) and has them 9-3 this year. All he's done is win at each level he's coached at. So how is he just like Dooley? He WANTS to be here! Get him here NOW! GO VOLS!

I'll be stunned if anyone pulls him out of Boise. He hates the spotlight and doing TV interviews and talking with reporters. He has a special needs child and his wife loves it there, as well as the doctors in the area. Everyone and their dog has taken a run at him, and by all accounts, Wisconsin is now, but he sure looks like a BSU lifer.

We all got something to be thankful for tonight. You are not doing the hiring.
